Kenya Irish Society: Ireland versus the Rest of the World

93 golfers in 22 teams descended on Karen Country Club on Friday, November 27th to represent their countries in the Kenya Irish Society’s “Ireland versus the Rest of the World” golf competition. The weather smiled on the organizing committee with blue skies and not a hint of the persistent rain of earlier in the week. The course was in excellent condition and Karen Club F&B put on a splendid spread of food upstairs in the cocktail lounge in the evening. KIS are extremely grateful to Pernod Ricard for their continuing support in the sponsoring of this and other events held by the society.

The main prize of the night the “Ireland versus the Rest of the World” trophy went to the Rest of the World with the trophy accepted on their behalf by the leading rest of the world team Iceland. A selection of photos from the evening is below.

1st Team: Iceland 96 points (J Getty, T Debusson, V Debusson, E Khayo)

2nd Team: Ireland 93 points (P Walsh, E Murphy, A Campbell, P Hirst)

3rd Team: France 92 points (G Recizac, A Recizac, B Raymakers, G Suter)
