The annual St Patrick’s Day KIS Ball will be held on Saturday 19th March in the Hilton Hotel. Details closer to the event.
The Annual Kenya Irish Garden Party for 2016 will be held on Saturday March 12th. The venue is yet to be decided. Details in due course as we have them.
The Society’s Annual Christmas Lunch will be held on Saturday December 5th at the Muthaiga Country Club. We will update this post with details of exact time, how to book, pricing etc in due course.
The annual Ireland vs Rest of the World Golf event will be held at Karen Country Club on Friday 27th November. Golfers, please organize your teams of four. There will be a dinner afterwards at the Club, so non-golfers will be welcome. Contact kenyairishsociety(at)gmail.com if you are interested.

The Rugby World Cup is nearly here – for those wanting to watch the in a pub, Kengeles in Lavington Green will be showing all the games, including the Irish ones. Some of the committee are planning to be there. Match times for the Irish in the qualifying stages are

For those of you who want to watch the All Ireland Football Final between Kerry and Dublin, it is being shown in the Curragh Pub at the Ngong Racecourse, on Sunday 20th September, Throw in is at 17:30 Nairobi time.

This year, The Kenya Irish Society disbursed 2,000,000 KSh between 16 worthy projects. The cheques were handed over as part of the Society’s AGM, held on 16th May at Noelle O’Briens home, in front of over 50 attendants.

Our annual quiz will take place at the Goan Gymkhana on Saturday, November 14th so please get a quiz team together and join us for a fun night out. Gerry Cunningham and Lesley Mullan will be leading the quiz masters on the night.
